I was looking for a local bike club and found my way to your website.
I live in Crestview and work in Mary Esther. Currently I have been
biking stationary at the YMCA during lunch break to stay somewhat in
shape, and I would like to dust off the old Trek and start getting
some weekend rides in. I have been out of the saddle for a while and
need to do a complete overhaul of my bike, headset and crank, maybe a
new chain.
I am a road biker from Maryland and fairly new to the area. I have
done some riding around here just up and down 85, but I am not used
to the sand hazards. In Maryland you have to watch out for rocks in
the road that fall from the road side hills. Also, I don't see to
many bikes on the roads around here so I suspect that the car drivers
are not aware of road manors.
Anyway, I am thinking about joining a club and I'm interested in
yours.
