Savate Boxe Franciase Seminar
with Armando Basulto

- Boxing Gloves (12oz or 16oz) no "bag gloves"
- Shoes (Savate or Boxing shoes or wrestling shoes)
- Focus Mitts (bring your own if you can)
- Mouthpiece
This seminar will cover the fundamentals of Savate, and you will=20
train in the same methodology used to train Savate boxers for the=20
ring. Footwork and movement, punch/kick combinations and training=20
methods will be detailed and drilled. You will have a taste of how=20
a Savate boxer trains! You will experience why this traditional=20
French martial art is referred to as "the art of boxing with the=20
hands and feet."=20
Moniteur Armando Basulto has trained, fought and coached Savate=20
boxers in the US and France and was a member of Team USA to the=20
Savate World Cup in France, 2000. He has coached US Teams to the=20
World Cup of Savate and his boxers have been some of the first=20
Americans to fight Savate BF in Europe.=20=20=20
In 2002, the Basulto Academy of Defense (TEAM BAD) was officially=20
paired with the Choisy-le-Roi Savate Club in Paris as a sister-club=20
to share training, information and boxers. Basulto Academy of=20
Defense is recognized by the French Federation of Savate (Paris,=20
France) and International Federation of Savate (Paris, France) as an=20
authentic source for Savate Boxe Francaise in the United States.
Currently Mr. Basulto is President of the North Carolina Savate=20
Federation.
