Their price for embroidering a fencing jacket with
your name and USA was $17. a few months ago.

CAUTION however, the largest size they
can do is 3 inches. And that fails the minimum size mandated
by the FIE and USFA by 3/4 inch. (Legal size is just under
3 3/4 inches.)
Which means that in a ugly situation you could be carded
for not having the legal size name on your jacket.
My understanding is that they did check at a J.O. a while back.
However, locally or regionally no one ever checks. Originally
we got the name of these folks from Eric Hansen who I believe
uses their services as well.And no one looked at me twice
at the Pittsburgh NAC. Just realize YMMV. So carry a strip of
cloth with your name and country on it at the legal size and if
forced pin it to the back of your jacket.

Also there are a number of smaller outfits that can do
characters of up to an inch for personalizing your gear.
Monogram Plus at the Serramonte Mall is one such.
