Hi all!

This weekend we are involved both in tournaments here at the gym and
tournaments far away . . . in Colorado, to be exact. Colorado
Springs, to be exact exact.

First of all, we will be hosting a Y12AXE, a Y14ABE, and an SDXLE at
the gym. We have fencers fencing in each tournament! In the first,
Y12AXE, Matt and Thibault Philippine and Julien Sat-Vollhardt will be
fencing. In the Y14ABE, Matt and Thibault will be fencing again. And
in the SDXLE, Patrick Wang will be competing.

I would highly encourage all parents and youth fencers to come down
for some portion of the two youth (Y) events! It's a great way to see
an actual tournament, to watch other fencers and see new moves, and
cheer on our entrants. The Y12 event closes at 10am, so the
tournament will begin around 10:30. The Y14 event closes at noon, and
will begin around 12:30.

And if you'd like to watch the senior event, check-in closes at 2:30,
and the tournament will begin around 3:00.

Fencing tournaments can be a bit crowded, so be prepared for that
when you walk in.

There is a NAC this weekend in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We have
six fencers traveling to this tournament, which is part of the USFA's
National tournament season. We send Jonathan Jeffries, John McGrew,
Keith Lichten, Mark Wheeler, Mehmet Tepedelenlioglu, and Sol
Weingarten off with the best of thoughts and good luck!
