NUDRAPER PRIMED AND READY TO RACE
This past weekend, NuDraper was prepped for the upcoming Red Dirt Rendezvous
Mountain Bike Races, May 17th and 18th. With the efforts of a pretty good
size group, some 20+ people strong, much was accomplished. Most, if not all,
of the sandy areas in the race course were cleaned up, several areas were
mowed, many sections were weed-eaten, a short reroute (in the Red Loop) was
put in, a rather large downed tree (in the Green Loop) was removed, and the
usual Yellow Loop and Green Loop entry point race reroutes were opened back
up. All in all, some 80 hours of work was put in getting things ready for
the races and the summer riding season.
Join the OEF in expressing our thanks to the following individuals for
helping out Saturday. Without volunteers Mother Nature would win the
everlasting battle for NuDraper and all our other trails.

Note: Several places throughout the trails showed evidence of motorcycles
and four-wheelers. If you happen to encounter one or the other while riding,
take a moment and let them know that NuDraper is for non-motorized travel
only (try and tell them in a politically correct way, even though you'd like
to just rip into them).
Our next scheduled workday will be at Bluff Creek on June 7th, starting at
9:00a.m. Keep a watch on our website "okearthbike.com" for posting of
impromptu workdays and other club events.
Now go race, ride, and enjoy!
Thanks,
Ward
