Hey Durango Ultimate, what's up?

Seeing Ann email out about throwing and practicing is making me really jealous and missing Durango and you guys.  But how could anybody who leaves for a while not want to come back...

It has been about a month since I started my travels in Southeast Europe, and I have spent most of my time in Zagreb, Croatia and in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina.  It is incredible to see places I've read so much about, though the main goal is to find a job here.  Interviews with public health organizations are going well, and I have been talking with other types of NGOs doing work in legal reform and civil society development too.  Things take a long time and involve a lot of coffee and beer.  The pace of business is different and new to me, and I like it.

I've also been playing ultimate, and how.  There's a brand new and really fun club in Zagreb, and I've been going to tournaments with them.  There's a 20something year old woman who is a great athlete, new to ultimate.  She has a wacko boyfriend, she's really great, and I throw a frisbee with her all the time.  Sort of reminds me of my relationship with Ann...  Anyway, I've been to tournaments in Graz, Austria and Ljubljana, Slovenia.  Going to Vienna and maybe Copenhagen next.  Unbelievable.

So Sal, do you fit into that orange jersey yet?  Daddy, do you still fit into the who's your daddy shirt?  I tell that story often.  Every time I tell it, I add one or two laps around the roller rink and I at least double the number of blueandwhites chasing Sal.
