Sorry that we missed each other when you were in town.  I had settled in at home before you sent the text message (I know...it's a little lame!)

 

Anyway, I wanted to touch base with you concerning the ultimate tournament.  Is June 3 our date?  You said, last year, that people tend to schedule various hat tourneys to attend throughout the summer.  When do you think we should start getting the word out?

 

I also wanted to let you know that June is going to be an absolutely crazy time for me, workwise.  I have three big events and two smaller events.  Luckily, none are scheduled for the 3rd of June.  I checked our reservation system and there is currently no event or program booked on the soccer fields or baseball fields at Riverview on June 3.  We do need to book, though, because everyone at the Rec. Center will book fields for summer events by March 1.  I don't want to reserve the fields in my name, in case there are any problems with the alcohol or other goodies at the field.

 

I was thinking that I could send out an email to the Durango list.  I could ask if someone would mind reserving the field and also ask if people could take on one specific task for the event (food, entertainment, games, etc.).  I am going to be stretched to the limit in June and I know I will not do a quality job, if all of the responsibility is on my shoulders.  I am happy to oversee, delegate,talk to Ska, and deal with day-of duties!
