Despite a tragedy and escalating arguments amongst my own family, I am
hoping for a happy holiday season for everyone...and extend that wish
to those of you who play ultimate:-).
I recently read a memoir by one of my favorite authors. When he and his
siblings would bicker, their mother had each child compliment the
others' good virtues before tucking them in. That is one method of building
appreciation for others...and it is what I am recommending this holiday
season. Build or restore appreciation for those you are close to. (The
author, by the way, is thirty-eight years old and has lost his younger
sister to brain cancer, his mother to a horse-riding accident, and his
father in a car wreck.)
But, my recommendations and wishes aside, I've attached a picture,
guaranteed to make those of you who know me, smile.
All the best,
-Loretta
