Dear Boathouse Volunteer.

This is Just a quick update that this Friday, July 20th during the day will be
quite busy. The kids paddle has been pushed back to 1PM instead of the
originally
scheduled 12 noon. We also have a group of teachers coming in the morning at 10
AM. This will be a busy day. Any help will be greatly appreciated. So if you
have
any time during the day on Friday. PLEASE come by the boathouse at Pier 96
either
by 10 AM or at 1PM.

Ok Guys! The Triathalon folks are putting out a great breakfast, nice gift
bags,
and... they are making a lovely donation to the DTBH for helping out...
We are trying to round up some more great DTBH volunteers!

We need more kayakers for swim support for the Triathalon on July 22nd! If you
would prefer a sit-on-top kayak, we can have everything up there waiting for you
that morning---kayak, paddle, life-jacket and all... And if you really want to
be
spoiled...Contact me if you would like a certain deck boat up there...Or you can
paddle it up the afternoon before and drop it off at the kayak meeting spot
behind
the resturant at tthe 79th St Boat Basin.
I will be launching from the DTBH at 4:30am the morning of the Triathalon- July
22nd, if anyone would like to paddle up with me.
We are asking kayakers to be at the Triathalon meeting spot-on the grassy area
by
the 79th St Boat Basin at 5:30am.
There is a kayaker swim support orientation classes at the DTBH the day before,
Saturday the 21st at 5pm.
Let me know if you are intending to help out!
