Dear Boathouse Volunteer:

This Tuesday August 4th. We are having or monthly meeting at Pier 96. Come by
early, the meeting will be called to order at 6:30 and typically lasts less than
half an hour. There will be a short orientation for new volunteers immediately
following the meeting

We are still running our day programs at Pier 96. They have been very popular.
We could use a lot of help. This is what we have coming up soon.
Wednesday August 5th at 9:30 am.
Friday August 7th at 10:30 am.

In addition we have some special groups coming in the middle of august, If you
want to help run these program days email dayprograms@...

We still have boats and equipment on Governors island. We are not running this
weekend. If you are interested in helping run future programs out there email
volunteer@downtown boathouse. We would like to do Fridays from 11-3PM and
Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5PM.

Saturday August 8th our annual mid season party, the Harrison Street Regatta
will take place at Pier 96. There will be food and a race up and down the river
around 2PM.The second boat to arrive wins. Come early and register. It should be
an interesting race as the 3 time defending champion, Tim Gamble, is not here to
compete, so it is a wide open field! The event happens Rain or Shine
