Dear Boathouse Volunteer:

Tomorrow, Wednesday July 15. Good Day New York on Channel 5 will be doing a
live Remote shoot at Pier 96. They will be on the air from 5AM until 10AM. They
would like lots of People to come down and be on the water, So if you if you are
an early riser and want to be o star or just help out, Come down to Pier 96. It
should be open by 6 AM or so. Hope to see you there.

We are going to be running a short paddling program on Governors island.
Starting this Friday the 17, from 11-3. The following week , the 24th and 25th,
we will be open 11-3 on Friday and noon to 5 on Saturday. and then on July 31,
from 11-3 and Saturday and Sunday from noon- 5. There may be other dates added.

We continue our day programs for School groups and other non profits. We have a
lot scheduled for July and August. and we have been getting very large turnouts.
These are all at the Pier 96 Boathouse
Today, We have the kids from the Columbia Secondary School coming at 1PM
On Friday, July 17th, we have the East Harlem River School coming at 9AM. They
be becoming every Friday for the next 3 weeks?
On Wednesday, July 22nd We have Kids coming from the Center for the Domestic
Violence at 1PM

Our regular New Volunteer Paddles Tuesdays leave at 7PM and on Fridays, will
Leave at 6PM!. from Pier 96. The trips are typically 1 to 2 hours of easy
paddling, arriving back before dark. The Aim of these trips is to get new
volunteers used to the Hudson River. We encourage new volunteers come along
paddle out in the river. All active Volunteers are welcome.
