right place – used to be the right time – now it’s more like 3- 3:30. Perhaps the let’s-get-started-earlier argument can proceed again. Try again next Sunday, but be prepared for ultimate time.

I found the information about your pickup game at laout and went on
Sunday to the place on the map at around 2:00 and asked around for a
while but no one there knew of anything and I didn't notice anyone new
showing up. I'm wondering if maybe I had the wrong time or location.
I can only describe the park roughly as I had no camera with me, but
the location I went to had a lot of people with dogs, a fenced off
children's play area, and was in full view of the Hollywood sign. The
entrance was on Canyon Lake Drive about half way up the initial slope
from Tahoe Drive.
Does anyone know if I had the wrong time or location?
The start time for this game has moved to around 3 (3:30). While I'm part of the problem, I would love to be part of the solution. Can we get a show of hands to move up the game to 2 and get it on fo' real?

A few of us are playing some ultimate this Saturday,
March 1 at the dog park at 10am. We'll have a few
beginner players and we'll be showing them how to
play. This is just a one-time Saturday game. Feel
free to join us.

This Saturday, from 11-2, the TV show "THE TWO COREYS" will be filming pick-up Ultimate at Penmar Park in Venice. Turns out Corey Haim is a huge Ultimate fan.
So Corey will be out there at Penmar, and he's looking for people to play with. Please come out, so we can have a good game. Hey, it's pick-up where we'll actually have a permit!!! AND you'll get to be on TV.
IF YOU PLAY AT THE WILL ROGERS PICK-UP GAME, IT IS BEING MOVED TO PENMAR FOR THIS EVENT.
And then you can stay for the regular Penmar Pick-up. Or I suppose you can hang out with Corey and ask him questions about Lucas, License to Drive, and the Lost Boys.
Directions: From the 10, exit at Lincoln Blvd. heading south. About one and a half miles down, you'll come to a traffic light at Rose Ave. Turn left. A little more than a half mile down, you'll see the fields on your right just past Penmar Ave. You can park right on Rose.
Hope to see you guys out there.
Andy

Hey Guys,
We're casting a commercial for LegalZoom.com and having trouble filling one of
the very
specific roles: Young Couple with a 3-7 month baby
No acting experience is needed. The commercial will run on cable. Pay is $600
per person
($1800 total). The commercial encourages young couples to draft a living-will
because
it's never to early to plan for your future when you have children.
Interested parties can contact me through email or:
submit@...
310-450-0835
If you know anybody who fits the bill and would have fun being in a commercial,
definitely
have them contact us ASAP for an interview time. We're only going one more day
(tomorrow the 13th), and we are required to interview the family together (mom,
dad,
baby), so I know it's late notice, but if you know someone, let's help them make
a few
extra $$$'s...
Thanks!
Matt Clark
P.S. Rosie your precious Noodle does not count as a Baby. Though I know you
are its
mother.
There’ll likely be a game today. If you’re chomping at the bit to throw, you’ll probably find someone out there who’ll throw with you at 2. But realistically, we start closer to 3pm.

I would play! Call me if it is Game On.

The hourly forecast is T-storms and 100% chance of rain. I like playing in the rain but it may be too much.

What’s the feeling out there, folks? Are we thinking about playing today? I’m guessing the field will be squishy. Doesn’t bother me. And since I’m old, my feeling is the muddy (vulnerable) field’s future is irrelevant and here’s why. In perspective, it all works itself out after a month or so. The gashes fill back in and the grass ultimately grows back. It does.
Anyway, reply back here to the group and let’s get some idea of who’s interested in playing today. Might be fun playing in the mud, especially if it ain’t rainin’ at the time.
Thanks,
Sheldon

Yea, they’re pretty cute and all,
but do they have cleats? Congratulations, twice!

Okay gang, I'm
only sending this because Cindy made me promise I would. I do not condone
the sharing of our personal lives, but at the very least, I can show
Cindy that babies are supposed to be smaller than their
parents. So behold, my son and daughter born January 14. Macy Devyn
(handler), and Reece Elliot (receiver). Sheldon will be performing the
bris.
May be a few
weeks before I get back on the field, but you might catch me in a Budweiser
commercial during the Super Bowl. It's a spot with Rob Riggle
("SNL", "Daily Show") where he's walking through a
sports bar, droning on about how passionate the Bud brewmasters are, and how
you don't see passion like that every day. Then I pop into frame --
painted face and body in blue and silver, with a giant blue and silver afro --
completely undermining his point. May it air as much as the Verizon spot
with Matt Clarke's wife.
Now that the veil of off-field anonymity has been pierced (and you were great at it because I didn’t know you were married, that you knew how to.... you know... or that your skin wasn’t really silver and blue) I feel the need to say,
Congratulations! (to you and your secret wife)
For the little ones
(and the spot).
Sounds like a great start to ‘08.
Does anybody know how to knit cleats? Anybody for an all-cigar point?
(and of course as soon as he mentions the Verizon spot, I see it for the first time...nice)

They're beautiful! Yes I guess their size is a lot more practical. Congratulations.
