Having problems with message search?
Hi Team,
Most of you have signed your 2009 contracts with the Des Moines Cycle Club Race team and ordered your 2009 clothes; thanks...you can disregard this part of the message and skip to the next paragraph. If you HAVE NOT SIGNED A CONTRACT OR ORDERED CLOTHES, next week is the time to get it done. The clothing order is being mailed in on Saturday. Come to practice Tuesday to try on clothes, or e-mail Jeff Mertz with your jersey size if you just want one jersey and you've already signed and paid team dues. If you want more than one jersey, get the money to Jeff before Saturday.... (Juniors...we've taken care of this with you Mom and Dad, so don't worry). Tuesday practice will be the last time you will have access to sizing samples unless you make arrangements with Jeff.
OTHER Stuff Next Week
-Training Tuesday night. If it is a blizzard, stay home. If snows Tuesday AM and then stops, come to practice if you can. We now have speakers in the front and back of the room (thanks to Joe Bechen for donating two speakers and his audio/video expertise)...so the sound is great.
-Coach Hammer is having surgery on his thumb tomorrow (Monday) morning. Hopefully it will be successful and he can continue his secret passion as a hitchhiker. And he'll also be good to go in 2009 for CX and longer rides on the road bike. He'll be acting as our roaming coach on Tuesday night so be prepared to make it look like you are working really hard!
-Don't forget to share any data you have that shows HR, Power, cadence etc. from your Tuesday night workout. Just post it on the board.
-We've started the Arkansas list...names are posted on the blackboard. If you think you want to go, get your name on the list.
