alright, I got a set but they're too big since I lowered the car. So if anybody
is interested:

$375. That's what I paid w/shipping. Plus I just seized the engine in the
Scion so I don't know how soon she's getting tyres anyway.

I have about 150.
That should whittle down to about 30 or 40 worth seeing.
I'll try to get them shared or on the website soon.

Just wanted to say thanksto everyone for a great time. I was under the
impression that the National Tour showed up with course design and equipment and
made use of the site. I had no idea the Dixie Region actually put the whole
thing on! The hard work by all involved could cleary be seen at every station.
Great Event

I had a blast, not to mention getting an education. Most karting I have done was
single drive wheels and on dirt. This was awesome, I will definatly have to do
this again. Well done Marko, Thanks

I actually walked away not sure if she was talking about the car or Tom but I
guess that's why it was funny to begin with.
BTW Ian was an innocent bystander. This recorded interview was all my doing.

Dear Dixie Region Friends,
As announced at the last meeting we have the confirmation for our Karting Event
on Sunday. We will start at 10 AM at Monticello Karting. If you have not worked
as a Dixie Region member at the Kart track during race day please bring a check
for $60 made out to the SCCA Dixie Region which I will give to JK. If you have
worked less than 3 race days, please deduct $20 for every day you have worked.
If it is raining please call me under 363-1245 before you are driving out to
Monticello. I am looking forward to a fun event on Sunday, and please let me
know if you have any questions. Thanks...
Marko
Just wanted to let you know how much fun we all had at the tour and thank you
for a job well done!!
Everything seemed to run so flawlessly, you guys made it seem easy even though
it was a lot of hard work!!
PS. The welcome party pizza was a nice touch indeed!
Thanks Dixie Region!

Just read about this on another forum and thought soem of you might want to buy some discounted tires to burn up.
Tirerack is having a closeout sale on Potenza RE-01R. This is the tire that STS2 and STU won at nationals on. Bridgestone is coming out with a new tire RE-11, so Tirerack offered to buy out their inventory of the RE-01R.
The tirerack guy (Cody at ext. 745, who autocrosses and does track days and owns these tires...so you may want to dial his extension) said that these tires are still being delivered by the truck load, but could not guarantee how long they will last as they have been selling fast. You'll notice online that some are designated as 2005 production, which are even better deals. Cody said all other tires are of recent production (2008.). Typically you want the freshest tires, but 2005 stored at the tire manufacturer or tirerack should be tires well preserved.
I've definitely been keeping track of that. With Honda and Super
Aguri gone, I really need somebody to cheer for, and USF1 is it. The
main questions: Drivers? Engine? Success? At least the USF1 name is
short enough to fit on those ugly rear wings.
