I did check the diameter of the bar and the thickness of the tube and
they meet SCCA standards. The main hoop is one peice and fits in the
car to the specs above my helmet and fits side to side. THe bolt in
plates are too small, but won't be hard to cut then off and weld on
6x6 plates. the cross bar is to spec I think. it is bolted in. I will
have to check about that. the tubes going back are too short, but I
have spec tubing to make new ones from. the tubes coming off the hoop
have inside sleeves that I can slide onto and then weld in place. I
have to get some flat stock to cut the 6x6 mounting plates from, but
It shouldn't be too hard. I will take pictures of the installation
for the inspector. If anyone can think of anything else I need to do,
let me know. Timmi
