Thanks to Brain and Ian fr the course and the hard work you guys put
in. I would have loved it more if my car had run better, but thank
you for a job well done.

My day ended quickly, Lack of oil will do that to an engine. The day
went on for most everyone else. Runs were clocked and times were
set. I believe we had 32 entrants today. we talked about 3&3, and it
was going well, but for what ever reason, the weather had different
ideas. For those who didn't go, we had to cancel the second have of
the day due to lightning and massive rain. we did run the Gocart
class today. The lewis Girls Christen(pardon me if I spell it wrong)
and Allysa. ms Ann's son Bryan was there also and made his first
ever race in the gocart. Fun was had by all.

Thank you all for your concerns about my Vee, but things happen.
Once I got home, I unloaded the car and started surgury about 3:30.
By 4:00 I had it on the engine stand and found that the new oil pump
was desinged for an external filter unit also. The pump cover closed
the oil port. Fix is to modify the pump by drilling a access port
that was already started. Bottom line, The damage is done. Most
everything is fine except for the #3 bearing that had gauled. the
crank was scored slightly, but nothing that a machine shop can't
clean up. with new bearings and a few things I wanted to do anyway,
She will be up and flying for June.

lets do it all again next month. Timmi

That's good to hear Timmi. My day was rather frustrating as well. The course, while very well done, had a lot of tight turns, which I had trouble going...
