What happens to the car after the race?   

Are you keeping or putting up for sale.

I have been thinking of building a 2800 or Baveria as a rally/club racing car.

As some of you know we have been putting together a team to run the 24
Hours of Lemons October 18-19 in Houston. We have run into one problem
I never thought we would have, we need some people to drive. A road
racing license is NOT repeat NOT needed. Safety gear will be needed,
suit, SA helmet, gloves, shoes and basic neck restraint. We have had a
good cage put in the car, the car being a 1971 BMW Bavaria by the
way.(I will upload a couple of pics) If you want to drive let me know,
we want to win but this is really for more fun than anything else. If
you need more information the organizers have a site at
www.24hoursoflemons.com or you can ask me and I'll try to answer.
Guess that is all I got. It would be great to get some Dixie members
in the car as the current three drivers are all members Sergio, Dustin
and myself.

P.S. If you don't want to drive but want to help get the car ready
that would be appreciated as well just let me know we will be working
on it most of this week and the weekend.
