heya gang how's the heat? :) It's been roasting out here on the coast
so I can imagine what you're dealing with.

I've heard the distressing rumor that Lucky7's has been sidelined for
the year. I understand that it's been a hassle in the past, but I
also know there's a huge contingent from LA that looks forward to it
every year. If we haven't made it clear in the past, let me say now
that this is the coolest tournament and we're all extremely happy that
you guys have put on such a fun and well-run show.

I'm curious what the issues are that are causing the problems. If
it's a time management thing, our league commissioner and good friend
of mine, Andy Bandit, has contacted me and said he would be interested
in taking over all of the managerial burdens if he could get a little
coordinating help from up there. He's a great guy, very reliable (he
ALWAYS knows what the score is), has been a fantastic commissioner and
he deals a mean blackjack game (not sure what that has to do with
this, but it's worth mentioning).

Basically, we're saying that if there's anyway we can make this
tourney happen we'd be glad to find the resources and put up the effort.
