Dan, I will prod the team to attend...I actually think I will be up in Tahoe for my boyfriends b-day, but we haven't decided yet when we will be back, I will try my best to get back, but I think he took Weds of that week off too, so I might be outvoted.  If I am here you can count on me...and I am pretty sure that Andrew S. would be interested.  I will talk personally to the others....

I will be attending and I am carpooling from the PH/Laf area.  I have 3 rows of seat and can probably accommodate 5-6 additional people depending on size.  My truck seats 8 (has 8 seatbelts) but requires small people if 3 are to fit in the back row.

 

I appreciate the team's cooperation with this and would appreciate it if you could all wear the team jersey to signify the group.

Most cyclists want the same experience as other park users, a connection with nature, an escape from the urban environment, fun, exercise, and a sense of belonging. Like most trail users cyclists prefer narrow trails. Whether one is hiking, running or riding a bike, users want to experience a close connection to nature, to be immersed in the natural world on narrow intimate trails. The experience just isn't the same on a wide fire road. While roads usually push straight through or over the hills, singletrack trails tend to wind around obstacles and blend into the surrounding environment. Many singletrack enthusiasts also seek a high degree of challenge that can not be found on ranch roads. Intermediate and advanced riders need more length and difficult trails to keep them interested. New types of riding such as free riding, downhilling and mountain unicyclists need different types of accommodation in the way trails and obstacles are built.
