This is a forum for our national hero, the hockey legend Dhanraj Pillai.
Very few of us know, that this all time great player, has been collecting printer cartridges (which he sells off to UK companies) to help run an academy for training junior players in pune.

Such is the apathy of IHF that they have not spared a single opportunity to demoralise him and yet he goes on regardless.
Despite all odds - he is always there
With skill, speed and sheer tenacity that outlines the great Indian spirit.
His story is story of triumph of human spirit against all odds.

Today we face an onslaught on Asian style of hockey which is classic free-flowing attacking hockey with emphasis on skill, technique and agility. Our hockey is much like what football is in Brazil.

We believe Federation of International Hockey is biased against our style of hockey which has dominated the world for over half a century. Both India and Pakistan have been on the receiving end. But we are sure we will see the return of our hockey to its glory.

And Dhanraj today stands as an emblem of this great tradition of beautiful hockey.
