Thanks Boulder-Denver-Fort Collins ultimate players! Based on your strong
initial response, we're going to go forward with a Labor Day Ultimate Mixer
tournament to benefit flood victims.



WHEN: Monday (Labor Day), September 5



REGISTRATION: 9:00am-9:30am. An email letting us know you're planning on coming
or thinking about it would greatly help us plan.



GAME TIMES: 10am, 11:30am and 1pm. 70 minute games. No need to play all three
games -- you can leave early if you need to (though you might get harassed
mildly if you choose to do so : ).



FORMAT: The Mixer format means you play one game with a random group of folks,
then play the next game with a different random group of folks.



PRIZES: Randomly presented for various antics (some related to ultimate, some
not : ).



DONATION: $15 minimum donation; more welcome. Benefiting charity is likely
American Red Cross or Second Harvest, we're still sorting that out.



FRILLS: This will be a NO FRILLS tournament, sorry to say. We're just kind of
doing this by the seat of our pants as a slightly more elaborate version of the
usual pickup games.



LOCATION: Map available at http://www.sloanslakeultimate.org/. Location is just
east of Sheridan Boulevard on Byron Street. Byron is one block south of 26th
Avenue.



FACILITIES: There are bathrooms, water fountains and parking right on site. A
convenience store is one block away.



VOLUNTEERS: We will need some help pulling this off. Let us know if you're able
to support this.



BRING: Water bottles, your own beverages and food. We'll try to set up a grill
for POST GAME grilling.
