Having problems with message search?
Appologize in advance for the mass emails regarding North HS Ultimate, as I am not the one sending them out to the listserve that you may belong to.
That being said, please note that I am asking that we will NOT be needing experienced players (for now) at North HS Ultimate practices, due to the lack of items that I wanted to cover and the focus of the practice was not what I was hoping for, simply too many Chiefs, not enough time to work with the little ones, if you can follow me.
Bruce Meyer and David Alex have done a great job helping out so far and I appreciate their help, but would ask that anyone who is interested in helping out to PLEASE call me at 303-519-7012 before showing up to our practices, just want to make things run smoothly and things were not smooth last night.., but for those who did show up, I very much appreicated you sacrificing your personal time to help out...

NW Denver resident) have done the groundwork to greate the Denver North
High School Ultimate Frisbee Club.
Dave has 26 students signed up to give it a try, Chad has completed the
UPA (Ultimate Palyers Assoc.) certified coaches training, and Bruce is
working on fundraising! The team will participate in the high school
league which now consists of 21 teams in the metropolitan area and we
signed up to participate in Denver East High's Invitational Tournament in

Now we need a little help from any available Ultimate players!
Tomorrow, Wednesday March 2nd we will be meeting and practicing from
3:15pm til about 4:30. Chad and Dave will be on the football field to
meet and introduce the game. We are hoping some people could show up to
throw and scrimmage to give the kids an idea of the game. North High
School is on Speer Blvd at Federal Blvd. Parking is around back off of
32nd and the football field is just east of the building.
If you are interested either respond back to me directly or call Chad on
his cell - 303-519-7012. We would like 5-10 people if possible. Discs
and cones are also needed if you have any extras!
If you would like to contribute money to the fundraising for this
unsanctioned (not yet), club sport please contact me directly and I will
confirm the school club account name for writing checks. These funds will
pay for materials, shirts, banner, tournament fees, etc. All donations
will go through the school and require school mamangement, so you can be
assured there will be no pilfering!
Thanks for any help this week and each week into May as we prepare for the
state tournament!
