I just started volunteering at a computer lab for a local nonprofit that
provides employment/job search/resume assistance to folks looking for work. The
lab has five computers; two are broken, and one makes that loud spittling noise
that old computers make for the simplest of tasks (it has a pentium II chip,
which was state-of-the-art back in 1998).
So I'm wondering if anyone wants to donate decent systems that can reasonably
well run Windows XP, and support Microsoft Office 2003 and Internet Explorer. I
believe the computers are networked.
There be a tax writeoff for you in this as well, which is preferrable to the
recycling fee that you'd otherwise have to pay to get rid of a system.
Let me know and I'll provide more details.
Thanks!
Jay
