Hello everyone,
We have finalized the information for the fall Kali High School Reunion
Tourney. The tourney is going to be one day, Saturday November 4th on some
sweet fields in Broomfield and will include high school and college women
from
around the state. Cost will be $10 per person and each player needs to
fill
out a summer league style rating sheet so we can make teams. All high
school
and college players in the area regardless of experience are encouraged to
play. Email Heather Waugh at heather.waugh@... if you have any
questions. I'm attaching a word document with more information and the
evaluation sheet and also pasting the text below.

Looking forward to a great, fun day of ultimate,
Whit
Kali Coach

“HIGH SCHOOL REUNION”
WOMEN’S ULTIMATE FRISBEE TOURNAMENT

Brief Tournament Description

This fall, Kali (CU Women’s Club Ultimate team) will be hosting a H.S. /
college mixer tourney named High School Reunion to promote college women's
/
high school girls ultimate in Colorado. The tourney will be held on
SATURDAY,
NOVEMBER 4th in Broomfield, CO.

The plan is to have local high school and college women's players sign up
as
individuals and rank themselves in a way similar to summer league (cost
will be
$10 per player). We will then mix players from different schools together
on
teams that are as evenly matched as possible. Depending on numbers, we'll
probably have 10-12 players per team, with both college and high school
players
on each team. We'll do something like a 4 college / 3 high school player
split
on each line.

We would love to have women representing from all 5 Colorado colleges that
were
at sectionals last year (Colorado, CSU, Colorado College, Mines, and Air
Force)
and from as many of the local high schools as possible. Rookies playing
their
first ever semester of ultimate (high school or college) are fully
expected and
encouraged to attend along with more veteran players from each school.

The tourney will be a great opportunity for the college and high school
players
who represent the future of Colorado women's ultimate to meet each other
in a
fun festive tourney, and to play with teammates from schools all across the
state.

How do I sign up?

Print and fill out the following page, making sure to write legibly (we
will be
contacting you with important information via email). Mail the information
sheet and tournament fee to:

Heather Waugh
Bear Creek 9786
Boulder, CO 80310

Tournament fee is $10 per player. Cash or check MUST be included with the
information sheet to be registered. Make checks payable to CU Women’s
Ultimate.

You will receive a confirmation email upon registration.
Directions/pools/schedules will be emailed to all registered players
closer to
the tournament date.

Questions? Contact one of the tournament directors!
