Southwest Ultimate Players,





The UPA will be running an Observer Training Clinic in Colorado at the
Rocky Mountain Invite on March 25-26. The tournament is in Fort
Collins, Colorado, about an hour drive from the Denver Airport.



The UPA is running Observer Training Clinics to boost the quantity and
quality of Observers around the country, for use in the UPA Series and
other events. You can read a little more about the clinics at
http://www.upa.org/observers/clinics. The clinics are 2-day affairs,
with day one spent mostly in the classroom (with a little outside work)
and day two spent with the trainees actually observing games and being
evaluated by the trainer. The clinic is free. However, there is an
online quiz to take before the training session to make sure you're up
to speed on general rules before coming to the clinic.



Please contact me and Will Deaver, the clinic director for this event,
if you would like to train to be an Observer at this clinic. We are
also available for questions about Observers in general.
