Albuturkey 2005!
What is a hat tournament (in case you don't know)?
Hat Tournament is an ultimate frisbee tournament open to all players of all
skill levels. Teams are chosen by picking names out of a "hat". The amount
of people that sign up determines how many teams will be playing. Typically
there are 10-14 players on a team. Each player is asked to write their name
on a slip of paper and put it into a hat that matches their skill level.
There are 4 skill levels, beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert. An
equal number of players are chosen from the 4 skill level hats and a team is
formed. The goal of hat tournaments is to provide the opportunities to play
with a variety of people while maintaining a competitive level of play.
