It's a slightly more accurate view than your window...

What the hell is the AcuWindow 4000?
The glass window I am looking out at story 43 of the cash register building downtown is showing a sea of umbrellas on the ground. Too wet. Too bad. Tonight is Santa and the Elves with the Denver Cruisers.
Just wondering if anyone is gonna try and brave the possibility of sprinkles tonite? I have a little drive from just north of Parker, so try and let me know before 6pm, k? I finally can make it this week and am excited to see what the hype is all about and get my green blades dirty. ;)

Well, it doesn't look like I am going to be able to make it tonight. I'll see everyone nextweek.

OK, so I just went outside to verify your findings and it seems that Mother Nature suggests that this is not a good day. It's not only raining like a banshee here, but it's colder than the frozen tundra that I once called home. I succumbed and am bowing out just as fast as I was in. If anyone is interested in shooting over to Cherry Creek Res over the next few days, please feel free to shoot me a note. Until next week...stay warm & dry!

Hey gang,

Hello!
I promise I will make it to one of these skates again some day.
I used to skate with everyone about 5 years ago - where does the time go.
But since you were speaking about the Denver Cruisers I wanted to send you an event they're going to be promoting and participating in with me ...
The LoDo Bites: Sip. Sample. Stroll. is August 18th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm
We would love to have you come join in the fun!
We have also have a group rate available for 10 or more.
I'm planning on doing it again this year via bicycle, but starting later. If we aren't too blitzed, we may catchup, and it won't be hard to find skaters (or are you biking?). I'm racing in the Bob Cook Hillclimb earlier in the day, so I won't be moving very fast.

Last night was a great skate... weather was perfect, food & Bier were excellent, joined up with Denver Cruisers for awhile to check out their Sinners & Saints night. Highlights included a nice bomb down the 18th Street hill that involved an angry motorist flashing a badge of unknown meaning, kartoffelpuffers with apple sauce and Paulaner Hefeweizen at Cafe Berlin, and a large woman changing a flat tire who had way more tattoos than clothing. We saw one drunk woman (masquerading as an angel) on skates. Micah touched some foreign guy's monkey. Steve even persuaded his non-skating friend from out of town to join us for refreshments.
Great night out on the town! Thanks to everyone who joined, and hope to see more of y'all out next week!

Hi
I think I'll finally be able to join you today. I've been meaning to join you since I moved to Denver a few months ago.
Looking forward to meeting you at Wash park
Cheers,

Mary,
Welcome to the club. We always have room for more. I know we all hope to see you out here tonight or whenever you can make it. I personally don't know of anywhere specific to skate around you, but I am sure someone will pipe up and help you out.
Hi! I'm new to Englewood, CO (from South Dakota) & was wondering if you have any room for another 'blader? I would say I'm fairly experienced, who enjoys company, but also a good workout. I've been testing the path from Arapahoe Road down to about Chambers, but both are deadends. I'm looking for a good, smooth 10+/- mile strip or so, near the southeast area. Any suggestions from you locals? Thanks!
Live. Love. Learn. Mary
