Hey -- just thought to extend my holiday tradition of ice skating
after Thanksgiving with you all. Been doing that since I was ten in
Central Park, NYC.

$6 admission at the DU skating rink
skate rental available for ... $4?

Let me know if there's any interest.

Well hi there,

A couple of people are going to skate today.

If anyone else is interested, here are the details.

The big R.E.I. store in LoDo.  The starbucks deck outside.  If you want to go with us, plan on being there around 3:45 as we will leave promptly at 4.

We are going to skate up the Cherry Creek trail as far as we feel like it.

Hope to see some more people there.

To love is to skate.  To skate is to live.  To live is to love.

Well, i haven't got off my skates yet.  I'm still wheelin' around.

Maybe some people might be interested in a skate soon.  Looking at the weather, Tuesday seems like the best day.
I am planing on skating the Cherry Creek Trail from R.E.I. to the Reservoir.
I have no set time yet.  That is open and flexible.

Anybody interested?? ?

Hi

Get this!  :

I am "computer challenged", but I thought I would give this a try.  When I called the Holiday Inn, I was told they were "sold out" for the group.  So, I booked a Holiday Inn Express - supposedly 5 miles away.  Need to cancel that reservation, now.

I only booked one night for now at the Sunspree Marina Cove.  I will probably go to my sister's after the luau.  Do not know if they would honor the same rate if I stayed a 2nd night....but I did not want to book the 2nd night in case I wanted to cancel.  Then, I would have to pay for that night.

So, I will get to stay with everyone on Friday night....

Holiday Inn Sunspree Marina Cove 6800 SUNSHINE SKYWAY LANE Postal Code 33711 Phone Hotel 727 867 1151

Current Price USD : $ 79.18 Average/Guest USD : $ 79.18 Total Price  USD : $ 79.18 (And that is the price including tax!)

The base rate is Price/Room/Night $ 68.85 Total Price $ 68.85Taxes & fees $ 10.33 Total You Pay  $ 79.18  Only

So, I feel "better" about not having a "roommate"....

Please have nice weather!  ha ha

I just got back from Puerto Rico this week and I agree w/Chris, the roads are
horrible, small streets and lots of traffic. You might want to google PR, have

I didn't make it to Isla Verde, but I was in San Juan for a week for work. I
didn't see too much in the way of bike paths around the city. And the
traffic would even make me think twice about being on skates.

I heard that Isla Verde is beautiful. Have fun!

Hey Josiah!  I plan on coming out.  Not sure I'll go downtown though.  I'm kind of slow too.  So, if any beginner skaters want to come tomorrow, no need to feel out of place since I don't skate too fast.

Hey Josiah!  I plan on coming out.  Not sure I'll go downtown though.  I'm kind of slow too.  So, if any beginner skaters want to come tomorrow, no need to feel out of place since I don't skate too fast.

Laurie (the slow girl from Chicago)

(224) 558- 5024  call if you plan on showing up.

Unfortunately I can't make a party on the 18th. The weekend before
or after would be good.

I vote for one of the houses. Either one, either time.

To love is to skate.  To skate is to live.  To live is to love.

One more time, now with the new and improved list (this will be the last modification to our choices).

There are now 3 options:

1) Party at my place in the EVENING:
12666 Patton St
Broomfield 80202

We can take a skate from my house - neighborhood streets if desired, or just eat, drink, and have fun all night.

2) Party at WashPark (NOONish)

Get a picnic table, grill, and skate.

3) Party at Randy & Alex's place (NOONish) - (Across the street from WashPark - 540 S Franklin)

We can meet at his place, go on skate runs or take one of his crusiers for a spin and party all night until his neighbors call the cops on us :)

Let me know how y'all feel about these options by Thurs the 9th.

Any way we decide will sure to be a fun time

A friend is looking for a few good websites to buy skates.  Do you all have a few I can recommend to him?

Thanks!  Lori
