Hi All,

I've been lurking for a few months and have yet to join you on a Wed night skate, in part because my skates are giving me big blisters on my instep.  Wondering if any of you women out there might have recommendations for skates designed for women with narrow feet and skinny ankles...  I have tried all kinds of socks, bandaids, and even put duck tape in my boot where I'm rubbing.  Nothing has helped.

I should mention that I use the skates for fitness, currently going about 5 miles before the blisters get to me.  Would like to increase my mileage, but not until I resolve my problem.

Thanks,
Krista
