Hi Everyone -
This issue has come up previously and my feeling is that an occasional announcement about an unrelated activity is fine. I'm sure many of us would like to learn about the interests and activities we might unknowingly share with others.
Where I would draw the line is when it becomes regular posting and/or advertising. For example, posting weekly updates about a different activity or promoting commercial efforts are really tasks better suited to another dedicated list.
So, Heather, I think your concern is important and I agree with your basic sentiment about this list being dedicated to skating. But, Linda, I also support your effort to let folks know about something else they might find interesting.
It's really a question of balance to me.
Everyone - please feel free to chime in with your thoughts on this subject. It's your list.
Thanks,
Chris

Linda,
Please keep this board only to skating-related events.
Golf is not one of them.
Nor is the update to your nutrition web site.
I sent you email to your personal account. However, it looks like it you did not heed it in your response to Clay.
Again, keep this to skating related events. I am sure that if anyone is interested in Ladies Golf or nutrition we are very talented and can find it without you self serving promotion.
Heather
