if youve ever wanted to see dent and couldnt afford to go it will be on
speed tv on lucas oil on the edge march 7th its not as good on tv as
live but still a lot of hard hits its run on asphalt not dirt
I an sure everyone has heard about the schedule change again, but
to make it official the poorboy derby will be at Gainesville, Ar.March
17, 7:00. If you need directions call the numbers are on the rules. I
am sorry this is happen twiced, but some people make executive
decisions for boards and organization and then can not hold up to
their agreement. So if you want to see the best derby in northeast
arkansas be here on the seventh. THANKS RICK HARDY POORBOY
DERBY CO.
pretty much anything goes rule wise and dewitt is in arkansas between stuggart
and dumas Back to the rules you have to have bar behind seat battiery box
welded down and batteries must be allthreaded down the rest does not matter

Engine mount may be welded to the frame, no added metal, plate

plate to accomplish this other than the mount being welded to the
frame. Aftermarket bolt in mount acceptable. The cross member has to
be bolted in factory style. Example: ford cross member has one bolt
per side. Chevy has two bolts per side. If you put a chevy trans in a
ford you may use a chevy cross member but must bolt it like the ford
cross member to the frame, one bolt per side. You cannot modify the
firewall for a better fit until you have run a heat.

part of the car. No pre-bending or cutting on frame or body. You may
cut on car after your heat but no welding!!!

aggressive hit must be made every minute.

28. The bumper height is restricted to 19'' from the bottom of the
bumper. There will
be no tolerance on this rule.
29. Body bushings, metal inserts, and body bolts must remain factory
and can not be
removed. You must run the factory bumper for your model car.
30. IF YOU ARE UNCLEAR ON ANY RULE CALL. WE CANNOT LIST EVERY
UNACCEPTABLE RULE, READ RULE 12 AND THAT WILL BE A GREAT GUIDE FOR
YOU.
31. If you bring a fresh car to a pre-ran derby certain
modifications will be allowed,
this will only apply to pre-ran derbies not fresh car

1st 5000
2nd 2000
3rd 1000
we are going to go south instead of piggott there wont be to many
piggott cars there im about the only one that runs around here and a
few people are going with me hopefully its a good turn out. I dont
want to run that leagal cause how much theses car prices are getting
jacked up i had rather build them kennett is suppost to have one around
april 17th i heard you suppost to be able to weld some on them.
i think most people around here would rather run piggot even if the
moneys lower most have 80 and up cars and they know how the derby is
run plus its alot cheaper to run
He may want to pick another date. Who would run for a $1,000.00 when
they can stay within the state of Arkansas & run for $5.000.00 the
same day. That is just the same as shooting yourself in the foot.I
have to travel either way I pick the more money derby
Justmy2Cents
i called and they said 1000, 600, 400. guaranteed.he
said more money the more cars. but didn't say based on
what car count.

This derby will be prerun, they may allow seat bar if enough people
have a prerun car with one in it. I have car i ran at Rector last
year with a seat bar in it. Hope they let us run one becuase i don't
want to cut it out. If you start cutting it will weaken up the body.
Unless they will let me weld up the places i cut??? I know there is
lots of people with cars left from last year so drag them out and get
them ready. Maybe they will have good turn out at Piggott. WRB
just found out the first PBD will be march 17th at piggott. No change
in the rules. if you need a copy they ( Bryan and Rick ) should have
