Would like to know if anyone has the phone number of where to call to
get some rules for Dexter. I heard the date for the derby was may 14
same nite as Paragould. Would like to take whats left of my wagon I
ran at Doniphan saturday nite and finish it off. Eric thanks for the
help saturday nite just wish your tranny would have lasted a little
longer for you. Those old chryslers and caddys are pretty rough on
late model sheet metal, but I wouldn't want to take a good impala for
what they pay. I had a lot of fun and got a nice trophy. I think it's
kind of a home town derby if your from out of town they try to find
something to DQ you for. The forklift driver wouldn't even pull my
car off the track. One offical said they were mad because my car
didnt bend enough. I thought that was kind of funny, my radiator was
laying on my carb. I met a lot of nice people there and I really
liked the track, just to much water. There sure is alot of derbies
coming up pretty quick. I don't hear much about the Paragould derby I
know some of my buddies are bringing out thier last year cars. So I
know it will be a tough derby, I just don't look for many cars.
People I talked to say their going to Dexter. Even if I don't run
Dexter I'm going to watch. Been there before and they always had a
good turn out of cars. Heard Hophels is having a legal 78 or newer
derby. If anyone is looking for a Ford I have a 78 LTD 2 door for
sale. It's the same big body as the 73 to 78 Fords. It has a 302 in
it but no tranny, no axels, or chunck. It's a good solid car and it
is a 78. Now for the price $250 and I can deliver for a fee. If
anyone is interested call me at 870-236-6895 or post a message I'll
get back to you. Thanks
P.S. T-Bone heard you sold your hearse to the Railroad Co. They said
they needed their iron back.
