I posted a few pictures of the cars that ran, i couldn't get any
action shots because of the rain and i was too busy watching. 1st
place went to a 80's ford wagon, 2nd was a 90's lincoln town car,
3rd was another 80's ford wagon. There were several 90's model
cars, the newest one was a 95 chevy wagon which made it to 4th or
5th and got the feature mad dog. There were 110 cars in 3 heats,
and a 40 car legal derby held while the cars got ready for the
feature, which you only had 30 mins and 6 people to work on your car
no matter which heat you were in. they paid 10,000 to the winner and
1,000 for heat winners and mad dogs. the last 8 cars running, the
mad dog and the mad dog runner-up made it to the feature. There was
no non-winners. The girl that drove derbys on the monster garage
episode with the derby car drove and won the best paint job.
