When I met Milan!!!   Message List

I met AC Milan monday and tuesday and I wrote a story about it, I
just had to share it with you all!!

here it is:

AC Milan

I bought the tickets weeks in advance, to make sure I'd have good
seats! And then the moment had finally arrived.. Milan were in
Eindhoven!!

My friend (who adores Nesta) and I went to the Milan training the
evening before the match. We had called PSV 2 times to make sure we
would be allowed to visit the training. PSV told us we could go and
watch the first 15 minutes of the training. So there we were, we had
our "what if we REALLY get to meet them" survival kit with us (pen,
Milan shirt, Milan scarf, Milan flag, digital photo camera) and
guess what? The guy at PSV told us the training wasn't open to
public! What a disappointment! So we watched through the gate but
couldn't see much. We decided to stay after all, just in case we
might be able to catch them leaving the stadium. Lucky for us, we
DID get to see them leaving the stadium!! The PSV stewarts put up a
rope to avoid people from "attacking" one of the players and then
all of a sudden there was Simic. He looked amazingly well, he was
stunning! And he was very friendly, he really took time to give
everyone an autograph and we were able to take a few very good
pictures of him!
15 minutes later we saw the rest of them gathering near the exit,
but they didn't dare to get out of the stadium alone! So they waited
until they were with a bit more and then came out. First was Nesta,
my friend freaked completely, he only gave 1 autograph.. to my
friend! So we were very fortunate! Then they all came walking out, I
caught a glimpse of Bobo, Maldini, Pirlo, Stam and Vogel. But none
of them gave an autograph! All the fans stood there for nothing…
They all went inside the bus hastily… Costacurta, Dida and
Shevchenko did pay some attention to the fans but all the rest… Rui
Costa was even running, as if there were that many fans..

Anyway, the next day, match day, we went to the stadium early just
in case we might see them getting off the bus this time. And we did!
The first person I noticed was Galliani (hard not to notice him,
with a face like that..). It was very crowded so I couldn't see
much, but I caught a glimpse of Nesta, Kaka, Serginho and Pirlo. We
went into the stadium, because we wanted to see Milan warm-up, and
the second we walked down the stairs to our seats I saw there were
already players on the pitch! So we hurried down, and saw PIPPO and
SIMIC doing running-exercises! We followed them to the other side of
the pitch and then we noticed Sheva!! Standing at 2 meters from us
talking to some guys! We stayed and watched Sheva for a while, we
looked at him, he looked at us.. as if it were nothing! He looked
really sweet! Then there was Galliani!! Striding past Sheva laughing
and talking! The guy next to us shouted `Signor Presidente, una
foto?!" and he stood still and posed! He was really friendly and
strangely enough he seemed "normal"… We also took a look at Milan's
dugout and Rui Costa was there!

When Pippo and Simic left the pitch we went over to the players
tunnel, pushed some people away and found ourselves standing in
front! And then.. there was Pippo!! At 30 cm from me!! And OH MY GOD
did he look good, with his hair all long and cute curls in his neck!
He was VERY friendly to everyone, signing a few autographs and we
yelled "PIPPO" to make him come over to us and he did, my friend
said "2 firme per favore!" and he did it! He gave us 2 autographs!
Simic was also very friendly, again taking time for all the fans.
The other players all came out after 15 minutes, for their warm-up
but they came out very fast and no-one signed or posed. We did
manage to film their entrance!
We then went back to the pitch to watch them warm-up, took quite a
few very good pictures, and saw them all in action from really close!

The match was awesome as well, we had great seats and really enjoyed
ourselves watching Milan play. Then, about 15 minutes from the end I
noticed someone standing in the VIP box, right above us (5 meters)
it was…. PIPPO!!! He stood there behind Galliani watching the rest
of the match because he wasn't going to play anyway. He was looking
down at all the PSV fans, secretly laughing to himself about
how "stupid" they were. He waved to a few of them and then he
noticed us staring at him!! So he WINKED and WAVED at us!!! AAAHHH!!
He was SO cute! I must say he "stole" my heart, I never really
noticed it on TV but in real he was gorgeous!

To make a long story short, I had a GREAT time!! Made some fantastic
pictures and video clips, got 2 autographs and have some very very
very good memories from Milan now…. Who would've expected that from
an "Interista"..?!!!
