Don't let the holiday throw you off -- there is still pickup this Sunday at 1:00 at Alapocas State Park.
P.S. if you are on the fence about coming -- may not be people, etc -- last Sunday we had over 40 folks, and held a mini-tournament. Some folks commented "Best pickup ever!". Can't promise those numbers every week, but there should be folks, so definitely come out!
This is a reminder email to let people know we are still trying to have a
pick-up game in Arden on Saturday mornings at 11am 'til 1pm.
Double-up your pick-up this weekend by playing both Arden and the new Alapocas
games. Let's try to get a good turn out while the weather is still mild.
If you have any questions please don't respond to the group. You can contact me
at gjyoun@.... Directions to Arden can be found on the Delaware Ultimate
website under the Pick Up tab. Thanks
-Greg Y.
Thanks for your interest, but yes it was canceled.

I'm interested, but was thinking it got started in Dec or January.

I had a great time at the party (sorry my reply is so late). Thanks to Rob for
organizing and to Josh for hosting. It was nice to meet and hang out with all
who were there.
And Rob - you didn't say inappropriate things to women only. ;)

As fair warning, I plan on being home from right before
Christmas to the middle of January and I will be sorely disappointed if I
can’t get to play some Ultimate during my visit.
Joshua, thanks for posting and I will see you on the fields.

Park
Now that league is over, you have a burning hole in your
Sunday schedule that needs to be filled. Filled with dreamy dreamy winter
ultimate.
New Pickup
(approximately) same time (approximately) same location as
fall league.
Sunday afternoons at 1PM in Alapocas Run State
Park -- same park as league games, but Field 3 (which most people
walk by on the way to the games).
If there is another activity taking up the fields, then we
can play on the rear fields.
* Weather will not effect this pickup. I.e. if
there is a little bit of snow, don't wonder if it is happening. Throw on
a sweatshirt and COME OUT!
* Pickup will play with current UPA rules. Also
league level strategy will be employed (i.e. stalls, stacks, forces, etc).
Still fun, still pickup, just smart pickup.
* Coed. Please please coed.
* Beginners welcome and encouraged. Learning and
advancing your game is welcome and encouraged as well!
* First game is THIS SUNDAY (Nov 22nd) at 1PM!
Bring a light and a dark! Bring water! Bring on your groove!
Please pass this on to email groups that you know who
also play ulty, who might be interested (Arden, AI, Lums, PADA, etc).
This pickup will not work unless folks know about it and come out.
Note that parking fees are in effect until the end of
November, then parking is free until Feb 2010 or so. Let me know if you
want to carpool!

I only took photos of the red v. tie die and the blue v. black games. I know
Chris took a bunch of photos from the red v. white game. Hopefully somebody got
some shots of yellow's game.
Sorry if I didn't get a shot of you! I tried to get everyone. Some photos just
didn't turn out.

I hope that works! I've never used photobucket before, but there were too many
photos to load them all onto flickr, which is what I've done before. Let me
know if it doesn't work!
Hey thanks to everyone who showed up to the party last night. I had a blast... but that may have been because I was already drunk by the time people started showing up.
On a side note - I'd like to take this moment to make a blanket apology to all the women I said inappropriate things to.
Thanks Alan. I got someone who is going to bring a folding table so that should work for us.

Hey does anyone have either a nice sized car where the seats fold down OR a SUV? And are you someone who is coming to the party tonight? Please call me. I need to move a closet door from my house (kirkwood highway) to the party ( as a beer pong table... may not have the room to use it, but I wanted to be prepared just in case).
