Easter Seals hosts an evening of fun to kick off 2008 Volleyball
Challenge
New Castle, DE – Easter Seals Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore
is gearing up for another fun and exciting year of the CAI / Easter
Seals Volleyball Challenge!
To get the ball rolling, Easter Seals will hold a Kick-Off Event on
Wednesday, January 16 from 5:00-7:00pm at Iron Hill Brewery and
Restaurant at the Riverfront in Wilmington. Anyone interested in
participating in or learn more about the 2008 Volleyball Challenge is
invited to attend the Kick-Off Event.
The CAI / Easter Seals Volleyball Challenge will be held on March 7-
9, 2008 at the University of Delaware Carpenter Sports Building.
Started in 1981 with the help of founding sponsor Canada Dry, the
Volleyball Challenge raises funds to help make it possible for people
with disabilities and their families to live, work, learn and play in
their communities with independence and dignity.
For those interested in forming a team and participating in the
Challenge, contact Beth Elswick, Manager of Events and Donor
Relations, at 302-221-2066. Prizes will be awarded to the
individuals and teams that raise the most money for the Challenge.
Title sponsor, CAI, a leading information technology consulting
organization, is teaming up with Easter Seals for a third year to
help make this year's Volleyball Challenge a success. Ernie
Dianastasis, Managing Director of CAI, said that CAI is once again
proud to act as title sponsor for this event, which last year raised
a recording-breaking $300,000 for Easter Seals.
Founded in 1948, Easter Seals Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore
offers a range of services, including outpatient rehabilitation
therapy, early intervention services for children, day services for
