The Volleyball Challenge is celebrating its 26th year! Canada Dry helped make this event a reality 25
years ago and has remained a strong supporter. The Volleyball Challenge is designed as a "healthy
competition" which benefits children and adults with disabilities in
Teams of 6-10 people sign up to play teams of similar ability in a 90-minute rotation.
The Volleyball Challenge provides individuals with the chance to have fun, get exercise, win
great prizes, and meet new people while raising money for Easter Seals programs.
The 2006 Volleyball Challenge raised $295,000 for Easter Seals! We have a strong volunteer committee who is dedicated to making the event in 2007 even more successful!
We are asking that each team raise a minimum of $1,200 to help us reach our goal. What sounds like a lot, translates to each team member committing to raise $120 (Teams consisting of 10 individuals).
We will be having an Event Kick-Off on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Iron Hill Brewery on the Riverfront from 5-7pm. This is good chance to learn more about the Volleyball Challenge, Easter Seals; as well as, it offers an opportunity to register your team, meet other participants and win some prizes. Each captain that registers their team will receive a prize. I hope to see you and/or co-workers, teammates, etc.. there!
