1. EEVB's Big Shot Volleyball series Continues June 18-19 at the Hilton Casino Beach Resort in Atlantic City
EEVB's season continues June 18-19 with the $2,500 Atlantic City Convention & Visitor's Authority Big Shot Volleyball Tournament. Sure it is a long name but that's because there is a lot at stake at the Hilton Casino tournament.
- Colored long sleeve tournament t-shirts given to every player at check-in, courtesy of the Atlantic City Convention & Visitor's Authority
- Men's Open Prize Money $2,000 plus the top 4 teams qualify for the $8,000 Hurricane Harbor Pro Tour Preview
- Women's Open Prize Money $500
- MAA & WAA: $200
- Double Championship Pts in all divisions
- New Saturday night Player's Party site: The Wonder Bar AC, a short walk from the tournament site with complimentary food and beverage for all players
- Qualify for both the New Jersey Flyaway Tournament (8/28 @ Pt Pleasant) & the NY Flyaway (9/4 on Long Island)
- 1/2 Price Coed entry fees for any team that uses online pre-registration
Teams from throughout the East Coast will be coming to this Atlantic City tournament. Be sure not to miss the premier tournament of the early Northeastern season.
And if you cannot make it down to Atlantic City be sure to play in the only other area tournament with the Great American Volleyball Tour event in Bradley Beach, NJ

3. Championship Pool: What sets EEVB apart from the other tours is the CHAMPIONSHIP POOL
The EEVB Championship Pool allows players to earn points every weekend towards end of the season prizes. Players earn points based on their finish at all EEVB, Newport Volleyball Club and GAV (Great American Volleyball in NJ) tournaments
Players earn points all season every time they qualify for playoffs:
1st 90 points
2nd 40 points
3rd 20 points
4th 10 points
5th 5 points
Make playoffs but lower than 5th: 1 point

6. New registration procedure for 2005 at www.eevb.net/reg
- You can now pre-register up to 6 pm Thursday evening without having to pay by credit card. Just bring exact change or check to the registration table on the beach. But you will lose your pre-registration privileges if you do not show up.
- You must send an email or call EEVB before 6 pm Thursday if you want to place the entry fee on your credit card.
- Bring along a print out of your email confirmation to avoid any mix-ups. You do not have to fill out a registration card when you arrive. The pre-registration program will already fill out a card for you. You just need to sign the waiver when you check in.
- You need to check-in by 8:30 am and pick up your t-shirt so that we know you are present. On site registration ends at 8:30 am and pools should be finished by 9:15 am.
- Court assignments will be made at 9:15 am.
- Teams that have not checked in by the time of the last court assignment in your division may not be guaranteed a space in the tournament.
- NO REFUNDS after Wednesday midnight before the tournament.
- NOTES: All players must be AVPNext Members ($20/player) which expires on 12/31/05. You can download and fill out the form on your computer ahead of time by going to AVPNext Form . Then bring the completed form to the t-shirt booth to receive your AVPNext #.
