Phoenixville Area YMCA VolleyWar Winter Series
When: February 5, 2004
Time: 5:30pm-5:45pm. Team Registration
6:00pm – 12 midnight. Play begins PROMPTLY at 6:00pm.
Level: A/AA Doubles
Cost: $50 per team (if paid in advance) $60 at time of registration.

Registration closes the Wednesday before event.
If registration is not received by 8pm on the Wednesday before the
event, the registration is subject to the late fee as noted below.
Teams: Max 10 Teams
Format: Pool Play.
Top 2 teams from each pool will enter into a single elimination
playoff.
Rules: Rally score to 21 (in 5 team format).
No Let Serve
Block DOES NOT count as a touch.
All `old school' doubles rules with the exception of rally
score.
One step on either side serving is legal.
Warm up: Teams will be given only 5 minutes between matches to warm
up.
Violations will be penalized by the tournament director.
Prizes: 1st place: 2 x Molten Mens USAVB Pro Touch Indoor Volleyball
2 x $25 Gift Certificates to the Sports Authority
2nd place: 2 x $25 Gift Certificates to the Sports Authority
2 x VolleyWar T-Shirts
**Prizes based on 10 team entry. If fewer teams are entered, prizes
will be adjusted accordingly.
Other Info: No food or drink INSIDE the gymnasium.
YMCA doors will be locked after pm. Any team needing to leave after
this time need to notify the tournament director for re-entry.
Players must remain in the gym area or directly outside gym ONLY.
If players are found in other areas of the YMCA, they can and will be
asked to leave with no refund.
Late Registrations will be accepted (at the registration area pending
availability)for an additional $20 fee.
All playoff teams are responsible for tearing down equipment at the
conclusion of a match or conclusion of the tournament.
All tournament director decisions are final.
