My name is Dan Eisenberg, and I run a coed volleyball league at the Glasgow Reformed Presbyterian Church in Bear, DE.  Our Spring 2005 league is starting in a few weeks and I wanted to open it up to anyone on the mailing list that would be interested in playing.  We play 6 on 6, coed volleyball.

 

We usually play a 3 or 4 week pre-season to give everyone a chance to warm up and find a team if they do not have one.  Then we play an 8 week season and a one week playoff.

 

Here are this season’s dates:

 

Preseason begins:         January 18^th, 2005

Regular season begins:  February 8^th, 2005 or February 15^th, 2005 (depending on number of teams)

Regular season ends:     April 12^th, 2005

Playoffs:                        April 19^th, 2005

 

Here is other information about the league:

 

• All games will be 6 on 6.  Teams can play with as few as 4 players, however anything less than 4 is a forfeit.
• All games will start when scheduled.  Teams that cannot field a team within 15 minutes of scheduled start time will forfeit.
• All teams must be coed.
• The cost per team is $100
• We usually have an “A” league and a “B” league.  Many of the “A” players play in other leagues or have played for local club teams or in college.
• Minimum age to play is 18.
• You do not have to be affiliated with the church to play.
