The following are the first set of dates. More will be added depending on what is popular and attended. The number in () indidicates the number of total teams accepted. Each tournament will have 2 levels A/Open and B/BB. As more teams sign up more dates and levels will be added. Expect open to be the top players in the area. Expect B to be a decent level of play. As the tournaments get started there will be player rankings to help determine levels.


Player and team eligibility: In order to participate, ALL players must be at least a current PowerZone basic member (keytag with a 2004 sticker on it).
Levels of play:To start off there will be 2 divisions. A/Open and B/BB. As the number of players grow more levels will be created to provide appropriate competition. All matches played will go towards player rankings. Rankings will help seed tournaments.
Entry Fee: Pay as a team. Quads $20/player ($80), Doubles $30/player ($60),
Discounts for Gold/Silver members. Quads deduct $5 ea, Doubles deduct $10 ea. (Add $5/team for day of payment.)
How to enter: Pre-registration is required. Entry is limited to set number of teams. Mail entry fee (checks made out to PowerZone) with entry form to Powerzone Volleyball 3 Luger Rd. Denville, NJ 07834. Fax entry form with credit card payment to (973) 983-8210. Teams may also register on-line with a credit card. Tournament entry is simply first come first serve. Teams Regestering on-line are accepted immediately. Fax, Phone & Mailed entries are accepted in that order at 5pm and then updated on-line.
Prizes: Cash prize* for A/Open tournament winners. Other divisions receive Pro-Shop tokens and tournament entries for same value. (Doubles win $100/team, Quads win $200/team) *Based on 4 team pools as a min.
