The advantage of the Turner's club is that it goes on all year. You just show up.
Tuesday nights are a high B level and Wednesday nights are an A level. The only
problem with Tuesdays is you never know who will show up and some nights are
much better than others. You can probably play one or two nights before you are
expected to join if you like what you see. Any more questions let me know.

Is it mandatory to form your own team for the leagues you mentioned?
I guess I'll have to contact "parks & recreation"... Thanks for the
info!

Hi Tom-
I have moved here about a year ago and can't seem to find the competitiveness that I use to play. I played A back home. I am really interested in finding good play, Is it to late to sign up for the Wilmington Turner Club? Do I have to email anyone or just show up? Thanks
Jeff

Hi there. In answer to your question, one suggestion. On Tuesday nights is a B level
pick up game starting around 7:00. They will expect you to join their club, around $50
a year, but the competition is good. It is located in Elsmere at 701 S. Clayton St and
called the Wilmington Turners Club. I also hear they play Tuesday nights at George
Read Middle school at Basin Road although is starts soon not sure when.

Hi,
Just moved to the Bear area in New Castle County. I used to be
fairly competitive in vball, but it's been a few years and want to
pick it up again. Does anyone have any info on pick up games /
leagues in the area? Thanks!
