Women's berth in Belmar AVP   Message List

East End Volleyball will award 2 berths into the main draw of the AVP tournament in Belmar on June 28-30. The 2 berths will be awarded as follows:
1. The winning team at the May 25-26 tournament in Long Beach, NY (The tournament should be finished on Sat. May 25. May 26 is available as a rain date of if the Sat. tournament goes too long)
2. The player with the most points in the EEVB Women's Open Grand Prix after the completion of play on Sunday June 22 in Newport RI will receive the 2nd berth. The winning player may choose her partner from any player who has competed in at least 1 EEVB tournament in 2002. All tournaments on the 2002 schedule will award WO Grand Prix Points.

The May 25-26 tournament will award $400 prize money in a double elimination format: 1st $230, 2nd $120, 3rd $50
 
EEVB will also hold an amateur tournament on June 29-30 as part of the AVP Belmar tournament. Everyone is encouraged to play.
