just heard there thinking of getting rid of
McCarty(*biting nails), Maltby or Draper and there looking for a
good free agent. Whoa! I really hope that doesn't
happen. I know they had talks before about Draper during
the season. . . .but if they did do that I wonder who
it would end up being.

true it may not matter who hit him, but it would

I found some new pictures of my boy. Looks like
he is going back to his brown hair look. Hope so the
blonde look leaves me cold. :o) The picture of him and
Ozzie is sweet; he looks so compassionate.

we were at a resturant at the time watching the
game and I saw him get hit and watching to see if he
was seriously injured. . .but I don't even know if I
realized who had actually hit him and I can't find any
notes to the game to actually see who had done

I agree with you. It would break my heart to see
Darren skate for another team. <br>One question since I
did not get to watch the game (or any others for that
matter.) Who was the punk who took Darren out. I hope he
knows that Darren has a veeeeeeery long memory and hold
a grudge for a very long time. Just ask turtle boy.

I so hate the Av. . . .<br>About Darren~<br>I
love to watch the way he plays hockey and it about
drove me nuts when he was in his hold out at the
beginning of the season, also to think he might play
somewhere else. I love all the Red Wings but to see Darren
in any other jersey would be too weird. Hopefully
he'll be healthy and ready to go after this summer for
next season.<br>He has so many ties to Detroit I think
it would be hard for him if it did happen. He's one
of those guys I hope retires here.

I can't believe they did it to us
again!!!!!!<br>Well tell me this then do you think Darren will be
kept on as a Wing? He had a really bad year but due
mostly to circumstances beyond his control he didn't
contribute much this season. Do you think he will be given
another season here?<br>I know he has a contract but I am
sure most players will say a contract isn't worth the
paper it is written on if they want to get rid of

I meant to hit edit not post. One other thing of
interest. I heard our coach tell the guy that was wearing
his jersey that he used to coach Ozzie many moons
ago. Interesting. He said he is very proud of him.

I hope we can build on last night's win. Maybe if
we win two straight at home we can give Ozzie the
confidence to steal one at the poopsie (I mean Pepsi) center
in Denver. :o)<br>As for the Cup it is so beautiful
and the player standing with it wasn't bad either. My
daughter who is the only ice skater in the family got to
skate on the practice rink along with about 100 other
people. It was interesting to see the variety of jerseys.
Of course most belonged to our local Blazers but I
also saw an autographed Patrick Roy jersey. (ooooooh!)

Even though I'm not far from detroit I myself have yet
had the opportunity to touch the Cup. Unfortunately
if I did get my hands on it I probably wouldn't let
it go!j/k : ) <br>That's a great way to raise money
for such causes though!! Hopefully they continue to
do things like that by getting the thrill of seeing
the Stanley Cup in person, but you also have the
chance to help someone out! That's definitely a moment
you'll never forget :) <br><br>I hope we Bring the Cup
Home- then maybe this time around I'll get the chance
to touch it!

I saw it! I saw it! I saw it! Those of you who
live in Detroit probably take having the cup around
for granted but if you live in a little podunk town
100 miles north of OKC, Okla.(as I do) the chances of
getting to see it were slim to none especially since I
wasn't able to go last year when our Blazers (Oklahoma
City's minor league team were able to bring it to OKC)
because my daughter had strep throat. I discovered
yesterday that it was in town for a three day visit
starting with a private visit for the families of the OKC
bombing tragedy and then yesterday it was at the Blazers
practice center<br>and we were able to drive down and get
our picture taken with it for a five dollar
donation.<br>It was the thrill of a lifetime!

I have never tried putting pictures in one of these clubs before.  It worked
pretty good!  Wish I had a scanner so I could do real pictures but these will

Hey all, I was listening to my favorite radio
station and I heard turtle boy's theme song. Anyone every
heard "The Devil is Bad!" I was watching a game against
Jersey back when they still had their bench throwing
coach and I <br>thought he was going to have a
coronary.

MI-chelle!!! No turtles!?!?!?!?! Now....who does that mean? *sniff* :)  I know 
I know...I can get you watching and liking my Stars but _HE_ is a
"not-on-your-life"....*sigh*

Ooh boy! I thought Johnny stopped the leaking of

Im SURE this club will be around for as long as we love Darren :-)

I like any club that has to do with my favorite boy.  There is another one
already but people seldom post in there anymore.  Hopefully this one will last
longer.
