Sometimes moving on requires a letting go of the past. It does no good to dwell on past mistakes. Those were learning experiences.. It has been learned. Enumerating any of it only causes pain. Remember the good stuff, like birth of four children within ten years; the Stanley winning goal, the great teammates. It was all confessed before. Through forgiving Grace, we can overcome our karmic debts. Look to the future by living fully in the now, and share all the Love you can. Such is the lesson Darren McCarty has for us. Let us support our wonderful hockey player/coach/broadcaster/Irishman as much as we can, and look fiercely to the great experiences that await. Last week two high school freshmen came to Bantan drop-in-hockey and just stood gawking at the ice as the kids raced around and pucks
slammed the boards and glass like cannon shots. "We have never played hockey before," they confessed. It takes courage to step onto the ice at that point, but once done, the result can be very satisfying indeed. The first step is all that is required. After hat, it gets easier. So it is with all things. Take courage, and know Love. And just do it! Go Mac!! You are so Loved!!
