The cold summer has us looking to the new season for hockey, and a realization that the hockey industry has burgeoned in this area. There are more opportunities to get involved in hockey here than ever before. With the economic doldrums, this is a piece of very exciting news. One iten at the recent hockey meeting at Boyne Highlands (They need an excuse to go there??) was the reduction in price for playing, learning, and supporting it. I would say that life has never been so good for those of us who love hockey. Get involved! Talk it up! BE there! D-Mac sure is! I expect him to be busy all summer with the young ones, but I also expect him to appear someplace where he can play and coach as well. Let's send him our best thoughts! Go D-Mac!
