Ice hockey is becoming a big deal in the sports world. I just got back from a week on the boat, wishing those major waves on our five Great Lakes (and one pretty nice one) were frozen over so we could skate them. On opening the mail, I found in my Oxygen Magazine an article about conditioning for ice skating. It was elementary, but good. I believe everyone should try it. There are rinks popping up all over the place. The workout is good for legs, gut, and hanging flab. It's superaerobic. I'm recovering from cancer that left me laying around with no energy in January, beating off death, and I can do it, at least get the skates on and s-l-o-w-l-y skate around again. If I can do it, anyone can!
