I can hardly wait for a new season to start! Hockey is the most uploifting activity I know. The game mimics life. There are two main pathways in life. One is based on the material world, with a philosophy of getting something or someone outside oneself to satisfy inner longings. It never works. It is the road to resentment, fear, loss, and excess. The other pathway is the Way of Love. It states that each is created whole and perfect. Needs are all satisfied by digging deep into the heart for the soul satisfying Love of God. The only thing owed or owing is Love. Love is the answer to anything. So I hear the entertaining production piece by Darren McCarty on WDFN several times a day, usually before or after a ball game. But what is it really saying? Does Darren McCarty want to be known as a
hard guy, or a great hockey player? What do the kids hear? Resentment, anger, fear, or love of the game? Nevertheless, sometimes popping a guy lovingly wakes him up. Some need to be popped into the next township! But what images is accrued? The whole objective of opening a mike is to leave an image. The great Irish taoiseach Cuchulainn found he had to fight and kill his beloved foster brother. As he gathered the body and carried him across the river back to Ulster, he shed great tears of sorrow. From each tear sprang a rose. And so came the Irish rose, the emblem of a deep and tender Love. Now that's leaving a legacy! Carefully consider every move. You never know who is listening. So when the puck drops, share the Love!
Oh yeah, and I am still waiting for Sean Avery to come kick my rump for laughing at him. Great guy, but poor image control. Needs to keep his promises better. Hopefully, he can follow a star this next year. And Sergei-well, lots of people are bashing him. I wish him well. I know how that money thing feels myself. I'm still wrestling mine. When youn go in the dumper for millions, you don't feel it until it's too late. Always consider the positive. Considering the negative poisons the considerer worst. Now, when do we play?
