With the NHL focused on Tuesday's outdoor game in Buffalo and the holiday season slowing things down, Generals director of hockey operations Ron Sanko of Windsor said there's still no timetable for McCarty's return.

"We're not expecting anything over the holidays," Sanko said. "He needs to get that paperwork taken care of by the league (NHL)."
