For Red Wing Darren McCarty and his rock band Grinder, it was
devastating to lose bass player James Anders, who died last month
from heart complications. But through the release of the group's
upcoming CD, "Out of Our Heads," on which Anders played, and
the "It's All about Rock!" tribute show set for June 10 at the
Masonic Temple, they're hoping to celebrate the life and legacy of a
great musician and friend.

Along with Grinder, other bands set to perform include the Dirty
Americans, Jody Raffoul, Ray Street Park, Man Inc., Peter Torque,
Zug Izland and the Chickens. More are to be announced.

All the bands on the bill have ties to Anders, who kept his feet
firmly rooted in the local scene, playing not only with Grinder but
also as bassist for Novadriver and before that Walk on Water.
